Lynnies Minis: Altered Christmas
We are going to utilize our stash of greeting cards (both commercial and hand stamped), Christmas papers, ribbon, tissue and gift tags that you can’t toss because it’s all so pretty!
Somerset Studio is my inspiration for both of these projects as well as an altered Christmas book we made in 2004 that I lovingly display during the holidays.
**Altered Christmas Book 1: Using a hard cover book, we will alter it using your stash of Christmas stuff gathered over the years. We will learn useful techniques re-cycling your Christmas stash into a treasured art project.

I will show you how to paint these clear sheets for a stained glass effect! The designs printed on these 12 x 12 sheets of acetate are gorgeous and we will make them even more beautiful with alcohol inks! This technique is fun and another example of how to use these fabulous inks by Ranger. The pages will also be adorned with flowers and other great embellishments.

Fee:$ 20.00

Add a little bit of sweetness to your winter blues with a miniature box for candy or treats! You'll learn to make this cute little box with a 12x12 sheet of double sided paper and a Scor-Pal. Once we're done with the box we'll use the scraps to create a gift card and a full-sized card to match. Please bring basic kit.

Great Winter Card Ideas!
This skier card is fabulous and perfect for winter! It could even be used for a winter birthday too! The background is stamped using the large Hero Block with snowflakes and white ink. She added layers of torn cardstock for snowy slopes and enhanced the die cut image with pens, inks and chalk. Then added a sparkly silver string with snowflake brad at the top. Too creative!!!!!

Happy New Year!
This next layout is of my Grandfather working on their home. I used some Graphic 45 papers, Jenni Bowlin bingo card, stickers and crepe paper strips. Then finished it off with ribbon, trim and a gorgeous Frillie Flower by Prima (we have a nice variety of colors at the store). Then I created the title using Thicker chipboard letters. Oh-and some 7 Gypsies fabric brads too!
Keep checking back for more great projects, class samples and new product arrivals!
